I’ll start off by apologizing for this enormous display of images, but it was so difficult to limit the photos since the arts of Italy we so incredibly breathtaking. Also, I wore this outfit twice so I just combined them into one post. The first real Art sights we explored were in Florence where we visited the Galleria dell’Accademia and the Uffizi Gallery. They were both just an overload on my senses but I would have to say that my favorite was the Accademia where we saw the very impressive statue of David. That is one sculpture that you must see in person because no photo could ever do it the justice it deserves. We had a tour guide in the Uffizi and it made it difficult to fully enjoy as we were rushing from art to art and skipping past one’s I would’ve loved to see. {I recommend exploring this one on your own.} The repeat day of this outfit was in Rome when we went to Vatican City. It still amazes me that The Vatican is it’s own Country, and a stunning one at that! Seeing the Sistine Chapel was my favorite part about visiting the Vatican. {St. Peter’s was actually my favorite spot in Italy, but we didn’t visit it on this day}

This outfit was the perfect choice for doubling up because not only was it cute, but comfortable and respectable as well. Visiting different Basilica’s and ancient pieces of art I thought it was very important to dress accordingly. {No exposure of the knees or shoulders.} It cracked me up because Michael kept saying that this outfit reminded him of Indiana Jones! I guess there’s nothing wrong with resembling a heroic kick ass archaeologist. I too, have a fear of snakes so if the shoe fits… A lovely pair of nude heels would’ve made this outfit complete in my eyes but there was just no way I could’ve walked all over these cobblestoned city streets in a pair of heels. We’re already planning our next visit to Italy and all the things we’ll want to see and do on our second time around. It probably won’t be for a couple of years but I am already excited!

Location: Uffizi Gallery + Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze, Florence, Italy // Vatican City, Rome, Italy

Ciao Bella's
