I can feel Spring in the works and it is magnificient! I am already switching over my wardrobe tones and saying farewell to my chunky knit sweaters. I am a huge fan of this classic casual business look. The braid just adds that extra sassy element which I am always down for. This hat and Faux Fur Vest combo really put me in the mood for the horse races, so I’m thinking I need to go soon before the season is over. I have linked similar shirts to this one because I purchased this one from a local thrift store for $2 and am not sure where it originally came from. If you don’t already, I highly recommend looking for different pieces at your local second hand stores. {Most of the time I find really unique and different pieces.} This shirt isn’t really unique, but it was $2, and that is unique to me. There must have been over 400 women’s button up’s there for hardly any money, so I say give it a go because you never know what you will find. Plus, it’s always fun to play treasure hunt!

Sometimes I like to get a little funky with my nails. I’m taking a break with the gel nails to let my nails recover and get a little of their strength back. So I have decided to take on the task of maintaining my manicure myself. {Not an easy feat.} This does however allow me to switch up my color more often and have a little fun with no 2 week color commitment. I was going for a little aztec feel this time with these and ended up loving the result. As for my braid, I decided on a low Faux Fishtail. This is the perfect style for on the go because it will stay intact throughout your busy day. Each time I wrap the hair around I secure it with a clear elastic and then topsy tail and repeat pulling the hair from the back to the front. Once finished, I pull the braid apart as much as I can for an extra voluminous style. When you do that, you lose a little length so midway through I added some extensions and then kept braiding so my braid wouldn’t get cut short. SPOILER ALERT: I’m thinking of starting my own YouTube channel as well so I can do hair tutorials so you can achieve my looks as well. I’m just a little nervous and camera shy. What do ya’ll think?
