First off, I just wanted to say… I’m back Los Angeles!!!!! It’s been a very busy and hectic past couple of weeks but we are finally starting to feel somewhat settled in our new place and I can finally get back on here! Thank you for everyone being so understanding and supportive and I really do appreciate everyone who enjoys my Blog and Insta Posts. This passion is becoming such an awesome treat and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you so you know how appreciated each and every one of you are. Now, onto business.
This summer business casual look is one of my favs! I just love a crisp white button up mixed with the perfect neutral skirt and wedges. The embroidered detail on this one is just heavenly and adds some extra flare to these basics. I cannot for the life of me find a similar embroidered one online for under $200. I found this exact one at a Goodwill store for $1 so that’s some competition to find a similar deal for ya’ll. (But I will keep a look out for something cheaper, I promise.) For a more casual or summer night out, I linked a very sassy lace up body suit that would pair nicely with this skirt. This olive skirt is high waisted and mini without being too mini. It’s also a great neutral and can be worn many different ways, which is always the goal for any new closet addition right? I don’t have a job where I need to dress business-Y, but I have always fantasized that I would, so I just do it anyways. It’s the perfect look for a pick me up in confidence. And of course I paired this look with my trusted baby wedges, because if you know me, I am all about comfort. I am also all about style, so if the two come together, I’m literally walking on cloud 9! The older I get the more importance I find in comfortable shoe choices. I used to only buy heels that were way too high for me and that were basically just delicious eye candy. Now days, I’m stocking up on chunky heels, baby wedges, flats and anything in a neutral so I can get away with wearing them more frequently. I’m super stoked to be back in LA and excited to find new places to shoot at and to be back on the horse and start posting more often!
