We have been living back in the OC for about a year and a half now and finally made it back out to Temecula! I have no clue why we don’t take day trips there more often considering its only an hour away. And lets be honest, an hour in Southern California to get anywhere is pretty dang good. We ended up visiting two wineries and then spent the evening exploring Old Town. We went to my favorite Winery first, Long Shadow Ranch Winery, and even though its been a few years it did not disappoint. This one is special because I love the ranch feel mixed with the elegance of the vineyards. Horses always make things better in my opinion. I’m also looking forward to the Summer/Spring seasons because they will be open until 10 pm with live music! This Winery is smaller and more intimate then most of the others in the Valley as well so it’s perfect for a little day date with the hubs. The second one we visited was Mount Palomar Winery. It’s more mainstream but has beautiful garden-esque grounds. {The food here is also delicious.} Old Town is filled with shops and restaurants and has that Western Temecula Charm.

I received so many compliments on this ensemble while we were out walking around. It’s so funny because I have had this skirt in my closet for over 4 years and this is the first time i have worn it! I found it at a Goodwill store and I remember it being crazy cheap like $5 or something. I love finding pieces at thrift stores that I can use to really make a statement that is unique. The top is new but I feel really makes the whole look. {Maybe I was just waiting for the right top to be paired before debuting this skirt.} My Mum and I found this hat on one of our trips to San Diego at a little kiosk near the water. Those are always the best because you can get good deals and there aren’t many duplicates like the one you choose.  I’m beginning to have quite the hat collection so it looks like we’ll just have to go wine tasting a bit more often since hats are mandatory. {I seem to think so anyway…} I am loving the romantic vibes of this look. Especially since Valentine’s is just around the corner it’s always nice to have a little different take on something sweet, sexy, and romantic.
