Victorian Vibes

TOP: TJ Maxx (In Stores) // JEANS: J Brand Jeans // BOOTS: Target-Old (similar) // SOCKS: Target

Our Christmas up north was filled with so much love and it was so nice to get away and enjoy the family. My Grandparents house is basically a museum and so fun to take pictures in with every room having a different theme. Everything is very Victorian and Elegant, just like my Yaya.

I found this long sleeve top with attached fingerless gloves and fell in love! I like that it’s longer in the back and shorter in the front and very comfortable. {which is always a win for me} I wasn’t able to find it online, but there were many in stores when I purchased mine. These J Brand Jeans are the best because they make them available in a longer size for the taller people! Being 5’10”, it can be quite difficult to find pants that don’t look like capri’s! My braid didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted, but it was Christmas and I was feeling too lazy to make any adjustments. I did two topsy tails to secure all my short straggling hair around my face. Then, I began fish tail braiding for a few inches and then securing with a clear band, another topsy tail, and repeat. This allows for the braid to stay together longer and the ability to pull pieces out for a much fuller braid that lasts throughout the day. Whenever I do a braid like this, I get heaps of compliments because it looks very intricate but is actually very easy to do!
