I seriously have to thank my Mum for this one! This Leather jacket was her’s in the 80’s and she has now passed it on to me and I feel like one serious Rock Star in it! I can only imagine the the things and the shows this baby has seen! Maybe one day I’ll be able to get the real details out of her. I love to mix up my style throughout the week from edgy and casual to really girly and sweet. I wouldn’t say I have one specific style I just go with whatever feels right in that moment for me. My mood chooses what will be worn that day. Unless of course there is a preplanned event or something then I usually do prep a week in advance. I have so much fun choosing the right pieces for any specific event and see how they pan out. For this look I planned everything around the sunnies. When there is a great pair of reflective heart-shaped sunglasses in your possession, you plan around them! I find them absolutely perfect for this month of love because it isn’t the tradition sweet go to red dress or shades of pink, but rather a Valentine’s look with a twist of edge. Perfect for that Valentine’s day date or even for an outdoor movie at the Hollywood Cemetery! {If you’re in LA…} Once again, I bought these Levi’s at TJ MAXX on sale for under $20! They’re mid rise, which I love, and the grey wash is very versitile. I’m a always a sucker for a great band tee. This one is currently at Forever and I am loving the Varsity inspired sleeves! All of these pieces can be dressed up and have so many pairing options. I usually try to buy things I can mix and match with many different styles. Stay tuned for my next Valentine’s inspired look, but with a little more girlish charm.
